I used the Celebrate Life stamp set to random stamp the background of the chocolate cardstock. I then added clear sparkles to the center of the flowers. I dry embossed the blush cardstock. I sanded the parts I embossed with the sanding block. I stamped the flower on a seperate paper, cut it out and then fastened it down with a brad. I curled up the flower edges to give it a little dimension. I added the word celebrate. I put waxy flax in the button and used a glue dot to make it stick. Pretty simple but looks great.
These cards were made using May's Stamp of the Month Be Yourself. I used one of my favorite paper packs Emporium. I dry embossed a portion of the card and then sanded the parts I embossed. I used Colonial White ribbon and Cocoa ink. This is such a cool stamp set. These cards are great to give girlfriends for their birthdays.
I needed a Thinking of You card for someone so I made this one tonight using the colors Vineyard Berry, Crystal Blue, Buttercup, Colonial White, Cocoa, and Sweet Leaf. I used one of the previous Close to my Heart's Stamp of the Month Treasure life. It is a really beautiful set with some great sayings. I used the sentiment Treasure Life's Little Moments on the inside of the card.
Close to my Heart sells this fabulous kit that includes the album, paper, stickers, ribbon, accessories, and instruction booklet on how to bring it all together. When you are finished you will end up with 8 beautiful 9x9 layouts. It took me about an hour or so to assemble everything and in that time I got interrupted a few times. It seems like the phone will not ring for an hour then you sit down to create and the phone rings. I am sure that has happened to you before too. Such is life. You can order this kit from my website. The order number is z1199.

This is a perfect gift for any boy or girl that likes to play ball. This is a composition notebook that I covered with Game On paper by Close to my Heart. There is room on the front for the child to put one of their favorite ball photos.
The answer to that is many things but I am only showing one right now. This started out as a plain white chipboard number 9 that I sponged with blush ink using a sponge dauber. I then used Liquid Applique to cover the number. While the Liquid Applique was still wet I sprinkled Prisma Glitter on top of the Liquid Applique. I took my heat gun to make the Liquid Applique dry quickly and become puffy. You then have a great accent for either a card or page. This is a really fun technique to do too.
As you may have realized by now I am a huge fan of Close to my Heart's Memory Boxes. They really serve so many purposes. This one was made to hold birthday cards in. I used the Good Times paper and stickers on this box. I also inked the Dimensional letters with sponge daubers to make them match my box. These boxes are so easy and quick to make.
The detail on this product is amazing. You can really see the detail in the second picture. They are called Dimensional Elements In Color-Adventure. There are 11 chipboard pieces in the bag. They are only $4.50. The number is z1158. Make sure to write down the number on your Wish List for when May 1st arrives.
