We had such beautiful weather this weekend. It was in the 70's yesterday, which is pretty good for November in Illinois.

Warning proud Mommy bragging. My son scored 8 points at his basketball game Friday night. They only play for 30 minutes so this is pretty stinkin' good. He was so amazing. The other Coach kept getting in the way of me taking pictures of my son scoring too. Very annoying for a scrapbooking Mom.

Rewind...

I am so excited about my Workshops I am doing this weekend. They are all cut and ready to go. We will be making a Bella Paint Can one day and the other day we are making a Moon Doggie Acrylic Album.

Would you like to get your friends together for a fun time, make a project, and get Free Close to my Heart Product? If you answered yes please contact me to schedule a Workshop date. They are so much fun. My Hostesses always get at least $40-$100 in FREE product plus they get to pick any item in the book for half off. Yes, I wrote anything from Glue Dots to the Rolling Carryall.

For those of you who purchased You've Got Flair or earned it for free this card is for you. You've Got Flair was the stamp of the month for July. It is a great stamp set. It is no longer available but I thought it might give you an idea on what you can do with the stamp set.

All product used is Close to my Heart. I used the Game On Paper. Shop now.

Bella, Bella...

So school is officially in session today which is good and bad. I think all the kids were starting to get bored at home and were ready to go back to school. The bad is it means Fall is coming which means Winter is coming, which means I lose my tan. :( Oh well, I can always get one next year or go to Hawaii for the Winter. I like the Hawaii plan. Anyone want to go with me?

I used the Bella Level 2 Paper Pack and Stickease on this birthday card. I used the August Stamp of the Month It's Your Day for the Sentiment. I added a little bling to the card using Clear Sparkles. The ribbon is the lace colonial white one. All product used is Close to my Heart and can be purchased on my website at luciag.myctmh.com.

You get 22 sheets of paper in the Level 2 paper packs which includes cardstock. All the paper is double-sided to give you more options. Also, with Close to my Heart everything coordinates together which saves a lot of time so you can dive right into creating.

The stamp set is August's Stamp of the Month It's Your Day. Shop now.

You've Got Flair...

I made this card the other day when I was on my purple kick. I stamped and embossed the image on piece of cardstock and then cut the cardstock into three same shaped pieces of paper. It think it looks pretty cool even if I do say so myself. The stamp set is July's Stamp of the Month You've Got Flair. You only have three days to order this stamp set before it becomes unavailable. You can order this stamp set on my website.

Yeah for July...

I created this card using July's Stamp of the Month You've Got Flair. If you want more info on purchasing July's Stamp of the Month look over to the right side of this page. You can earn this stamp set at a discount or even for free. I embossed the image with silver embossing powder. I used Itty Brad in the middle. I am on a Itty Brad kick lately. I am not normally drawn to using purple but I decided to give it a chance. I guess it isn't too bad of a color. All products are Close to my Heart and can be purchased on my website.

Thinking of You

I used June's Stamp of the Month Tender Tags to create this card. I dry embossed the front of the card and then sanded the embossed surfaces. I stamped a peice of white daisy cardstock with the stamp set Spot On Backgrounds. I used Heavenly Blue Ribbon that I put through the holes of the Foundry Bookplate. I used three square Clear Sparkles in the left corner. All items can be found and purchased on my website.

This month's stamp of the month is so much fun to play with. I embossed on each of the cards with clear detail embossing powder using my embossing pen which allows you to emboss small areas. Don't these women look like they are having fun?

World's Best Dad Card

I used April's Stamp of the Month World's Best Dad to create this 3x3 card. I colored the fish with CTMH colored pencils. I used a tiny sparkle for the eye. Who says you can't use bling on a Man's card? I second generation stamped the waves and used liquid glass on them to give them a little shine (it is kinda hard to see in the pic). I used the Good Times paper pack. I tied hemp around the card and stamped World's Best Dad on the inside.
