Emporium 9"x9" Accordion Album

I used the Emporium Paper to make this Accordion Album. I really like the color combo with this paper set. I have been using it for all different projects. This one I made for a relative's birthday. I am going to add the pictures before giving it to them. They also make great wedding gifts. I usually make a decorated Memory box to put the Accordion Album in so I end up with a completed gift that needs no wrapping. I love that part. This gift always ends up with all the Wows at baby showers and wedding showers. I just smile. :)

That's Amore Clear Tin with handle

These clear paint tins are so cute to put candy in. I gave this tin to my husband for Valentine's Day I think he ate the m&ms faster then I made the tin. He gave me the tin back after he ate the candy. He knows the rules. :) He really just wanted the m&ms, plus he knows how it goes when you are married to a scrapbooker.

I used That's Amore paper. I also used the February Word Puzzle Stamp set. These look really cute for Easter. You can put shredded green paper in them with plastic eggs. Also, graduations are coming up they would make cute graduation gifts.

Cute Free Spirit Composition Notebook

I covered the front and back of a Composition Notebook in Close to my Heart's Free Spirit Paper. I used the Rustic Alphabet to spell the word cute. I sponged the edges of the paper in Cocoa Ink. Kids love these notebooks. It makes their notebook different then all the other notebooks out there. They are always a huge hit at my craft fairs with the kids. They are very inexpensive to make too.

Perfect Day Imagine Layout

I used the Imagine Book by Jeanette Lynton, founder of Close to my Heart to create this layout. Imagine helps scrapbooking become faster, simpler and easier, which is Close to my Heart's motto. I used the Perfect Day paper on this layout. It was given away to one special lady who was a hostess when she had a Close to my Heart party.

Perfect Day 3"x3" Cards

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Notice one of my cards below has green on it. The correct name is juniper but it is a form of green. :)

Sometimes you just need a little card for a gift bag or just to let someone special know that you care about them.

I used Perfect Day Paper and Stickease on the card on the left. I also put a little bling on this card.

I used Cocoa ribbon and the Hello stamp is from the set call For Every Occassion. It has all kinds of different greetings on it. Thinking of You, Happy Birthday, Missing You and others.

More To Adore Purse Tin

I decorated this purse in my favorite color combination pink and brown. I really love those colors together. I know many of you do too. I also used Close to my Heart More to Adore Paper (one of my all time favorite papers).

The tin I decorated is called a purse tin but can be used for many different functions. It measure 5X7X31/2H. It could be used for a purse, recipes, cards, lunchbox, children's treasures or anything else you can come up with. You can paint them if you would like a different color then white too. I left mine white for this project. I tied blush and chocolate ribbon around the handles. I layered the flowers and put a button in the middle. I also added some sparkles to the tin to give it a little bling.

This would make a great workshop for you and friends to get together and make.

If you are wanting some tins they are $6.

I used Stardust paper which is great for soccer pictures, boy pictures, school pictures or anything else you can come up with. The album is 6 1/4"x7". The measurements are very easy to cut. Getting Creative with Liquid Glass!

Use to attach page elements (especially good with clear items): metals, vellum (note: it can show through a little bit), transparencies, fibers, flowers, plastic embellishments, stickers that have lost their stick…etc…

Cover the top of a bigger brad and then dip it in Prisma glitter. This gives you a glittery brad.

Use to add any kind of water effect to a page: bubbles, water droplets, or just to make something look wet.

If you have a dull metal object you can make it look shiny again by adding a thin layer of glaze.

Use to highlight designs on patterned paper (ex: flowers, vines, or even geometric figures)

Use on photo to make an object stand out.

Use on stickers to give them dimension.

Add some ink to change the color and it gives it a stained glass look.

Use it with micro beads.

Make clear epoxy type stickers with it.

Use it to put "dew drops" on paper flowers.

Fill conchos with it.

Add it to acrylic paint to give it added sticking power (and a glossy shine) when painting metals

Don't want a knot/bow in a piece of ribbon or fiber to keep slipping out? Add a dot of liquid glass on the back - it dries clear, rarely (if ever) discolors, and holds like crazy!

Pound down a bottle cap, cut a photo down to size and put it inside the bottle cap, then cover with the glaze and let it harden. Love the look! Need to watch it though - sometimes the picture wants to 'float', you may want to temporarily adhere it with something else before you glaze over it. Use it to add glitter to a project.

Use them on My Stickease. Always start with a thin coat and then add additional coats until desired thickness.

Trace words with it!!!

Have you tried something with liquid glass that is not mentioned here? Leave a comment telling me what it is.

Z679 Liquid Glass You get 2 fl. oz. which lasts a long time. It is only $6.95. It is a great deal.

Notebook Cube and Circle Album Workshop

This My Creations Cube is for an upcoming workshop. I made the Circle Album to fit inside the cube. I used the Notebook paper on these two projects. The cube is surprisingly easy to make. I think this will be a very nice gift for someone on their birthday or anniversary. You could even do it as a wedding shower gift. I was thinking about trying a box of tissues in it. You could even use it as an Easter Box.
